Translating Values across Cultural Boundaries

We live and work in a global marketplace. Our fruits and vegetables come from across borders and oceans, as do our clothes and electronics. To continue the quaint belief that our own businesses will forever be local is denying this reality.

iniTrans provides translation, transcreation, and localisation services with dedication to the philosophy that at the heart of translation is the desire for communication.

~~~~~
Translation is the art of bringing an idea or an object from one language, one culture, one paradigm, and presenting it to another paradigm, another culture, in another language (if necessary) in a manner that brings as much of the original meaning as possible.
Overall, this can be a very daunting task, but the rewards in crossing the natural barriers of language, culture, and paradigm can be immense.
Translation has been undertaken for millennia, for the express purpose of creating communication with and understanding of other peoples. These understandings have facilitated trade, encouraged the exchange of knowledge, furthered exploration, as well as created peace treaties between peoples.
Translation is a huge but very necessary task in a world full of ideas to be shared, and problems to be solved. As Goethe once said: “Say what we may of the inadequacy of translation, yet the work is and will always be one of the weightiest and worthiest undertakings in the general concerns of the world.”
